The Nikaraguan government has clearly stated that it will not release the two
boat crews that were "detained" at the northern river seperating both countries until all tolls as well housing expenses for
the "detainees" have been fully paid. It is the official stance of this government to press upon the Nikaraguan government
that the passage of the river should be free upon international laws of freedom of navigation. The Nikaraguan government has
stated that our republic is taking both countries to the brink of breaking diplomatic relations. We state the contrary since
we press both parties to remain calm.
